To celebrate British Flower Week (15-21 June), talented florist Jayne Roberts once again organised a stunning British Flower Festival at Carisbrooke Priory here on the Isle of Wight - and invited me to attend with my Isle of Wight seaweed art.
This was my very first show and I felt completely overwhelmed by the wonderful response to my work - not only from visitors, but from my fellow exhibitors and friends, too.
The event was officially opened by the Island’s High Sheriff, Nigel Hartley, and over 40 talented Island florists and creatives put on the most amazing floral displays and handcrafted floral-inspired artwork
The historic setting of Carisbrooke Priory provided the perfect backdrop for the event.
Here are some photographic highlights from the event. I am already looking forward to the next one!
